Sunrise in Okakarara

Crowds of supporters gathered at the offices of NUDO, DTA and WRP, in Okakarara, where they will be “sun-rising” in anticipation of the Regional and Local Authority Election on Friday.

Nampa earlier reported that, apart from demands for reparation, voters in Okakarara feel the new councillor should bring essential services like potable water, good roads and electrify villages around Okondjatu, Otjituuo and Okamatapati among others. 

Candidates contesting the Okakarara constituency are:
Jonathan Tjakuva, Swapo
Incumbent councillor, Vetaruhe Kandorozu, Nudo
